When owner Lynn Jacobs was little, she loved to sew. She watched her grandmother and mom and learned the craft from them as she grew. Today, you can still see her eyes light up when new bolts of fabric arrive.
 "Opening a store was my dream for more than 25 years." Lynn and her husband, Chris, opened the doors to business in Spokane Valley, Washington in May of 2008. Customers feel like family when they visit, finding a friendly staff who truly cares and wants to help.
"I love to put colors together." Lynn often walks the store with a customer to match fabrics and patterns for a quilt project. "It's something I love--being able to touch it all and absorb myself in the craft." A Heart Like Yours has an excellent variety of materials for any taste--from traditional to eclectic.
Classes and clubs are offered on a continous basis with most being held at the store. Some classes are unique to A Heart Like Yours and all are welcome--from beginners to experts. Dont worry about feeling inadequate, there's a camaraderie among employees and customers to make everyone feel at ease.
