Class Policies


Class fee is due at the time of registration. If registration is by phone, you may pay by bank card or mail in payment.  Please let us know when you sign up if you will need a classroom sewing machine.
Cancelations: 7 days notice is required for a cancellation if you wish a full refund or transfer to another class.  In the event of a class cancellation we will notify you as soon as possible.
Cell phones must be set to vibrate mode.  If you must take a call or return a text please leave the classroom in consideration of others.
Class supplies:  Be sure to check your supply list and instructions before class. Have all your fabrics prepped and supplies on hand. Students receive a 10% discount on all class supplies. Copy Right Laws require all students to have their own original pattern when taking a class.  If your class begins at 10:00 am, please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before to allow the staff and teacher to finish their preparations.

Advanced Embroidery

Learn more hand embroidery stitches to take your embroidery beyond the basics. Everything supplied, you only bring a small pair of scissors.

Baby Quillow

What is a quillow? Come to class and find out how easy it is to construct this project. Quick project for a new baby or shower gift. Basic sewing skills are all that you need. Pattern supplied.

Beginning Buttonhole Embroidery

Looking at Debbie's work it's hard to tell if it's hand or machine stitched! Learn her secrets during class and become an expert. Kits will be available.Pattern or kit required.

Beginning Embroidery

Embroidery can add dimension to any project. This class is designed for the beginner or someone that just needs a brush up. Five basic embroidery stitches will be taught. Pattern required.

Beginning Quilting

Basic quilt making skills from rotary cutting to sewing straight seams are taught while completing a table topper.

Big Bouquet Ruched Flowers

Create a big bouquet of “Big Ruched” flowers as you learn how to use the “New” TR700 Ruching Guide. Make summer bouquets that will last into winter from your favorite bright tone fabrics as gifts or for yourself.

Circle Table Topper

Make a complete topper by sewing circles together to create a project with motion and dimension. Pattern supplied by instructor.

Great organizer to take to class. Using vinyl lets you see what tool is where. These also make great gifts. Pattern required.

Color Crayon Embroidery

Crayons are a great way to add dimension to your quilts. It’s easy, it’s fun and all ages love to color. Makes great keepsakes for family reunions and birthday parties. Pattern of your choice required. Teacher will supply crayons.

Crazy Love Pouch

Use your embroidery skills or learn some new stitches to complete this handy little pouch. Crayon quilting taught during first class. Pattern required.

Fun and Done - Speedy Stars

This is a quilt as you go technique. The piecing and quilting are done at the same time. When the last stitch is stitched - you're done!

The Glacier Star quilt by Judy Niemeyer is only available by taking the class and runs once a month for seven months.

Use wool or wool felt, choose three or four colors, stitch by hand or machine, and hang a different kind of flag this year.

Hand Quilting Laura's Way

Learn how to hand quilt without using a hoop or frame. This method is kinder to arthritic hands, allowing for maximum speed, even stitches and portability of bed size hand quilting projects.

Scrap Bag Mystery Quilt

Let’s do a quick mystery quilt to enjoy the dog days of summer. This was designed as a child’s quilt and finishes at 40” x 56” (perfect size for a Project Linus) but can easily be doubled to about 56” x 72” for a nice sized lap quilt. Just double the fabric requirements.
